Kirsty Scott

Kirsty Scott has over 15 years senior management experience in industry and the public sector. Based in Asia and North America, Kirsty had a successful career working in international sourcing, sales and marketing for multinational apparel companies. Following her return to Scotland, Kirsty was appointed Head of the National Textiles team of Scottish Enterprise, Scotland's economic development agency. She led the development of an industry strategy based on building a shared agenda between leading players in industry, government and support agencies, and delivered key promotional, skills and business innovation projects.

Kirsty Scott joined Upper Quartile in 2008, and leads a range of projects for private and public sector clients, across multiple industry sectors. She has worked on strategy development at both sector and individual company level. Kirsty's particular expertise is in developing new models of engagement between universities and the private sector, and is advising education clients on developing strategies for industry collaborations. She has an MB and MBA in International Business and Strategy.

Currently working with six of Scotland's leading Universities, Kirsty Scott is forging partnerships with UK and international industrial partners to deliver applied research and knowledge transfer activities. Other activities include performance measurement, business strategy and EU and UK funded skills development projects.
