Project: Harris Tweed Skills and Training Programme

Upper Quartile is project managing a European Social Fund (ESF) funded project, designing and implementing training initiatives to address skills and strategic management development needs within a key niche industry sector.

After working with participating companies to align skills needs to business strategy, Upper Quartile brought together a team of leading education and training providers from across the UK to deliver an integrated programme of training and to develop bespoke solutions specific to the sector.

By fostering a partnership approach with relevant agencies, Upper Quartile has secured further investment into the project, increasing the project fund by 20 per cent.  Our team approach, combined with our track record in complex project management, expertise in the textile industry and education, and practical working knowledge has resulted in 40 per cent of delivery achieved within the first phase of the project, and benefits to participating companies already being realised.
