IMP³rove Innovation

Upper Quartile is part of a recently won European Commission tender for a Europe-wide innovation tool and system.  ‘IMP³rove’ is a proven approach to assist with innovation performance management in small to medium enterprises.  Based on AT Kearney's 'House of Innovation' , the Improve process takes companies progressively through from  developing an Innovation Strategy and organisation culture to new idea generation and new product life cycle  processes - all the time relating the need for innovation to the cost and profits made from ‘innovating‘.  

An advisor works with the company to gain understanding of the innovation process and at the end of the process the company is supported with a report which demonstrates performance on all key measures of innovation against an international benchmark of the best in the class.

Upper Quartile was a founding member during the trial period of this tool as it was developed by the European Commission and the tool ran the process over more than 3,000 SMEs across the world.  Because of our contribution to the process, Upper Quartile is now uniquely placed to be able to offer training and development support for development agencies, trade associations and individuals to use this tool with their own innovation advisors to improve their levels of innovation.     As part of the process a virtual ‘Innovation Academy’ is to run in support of this drive to innovation.
