The Adaptex Tool is an innovative web-based tool that helps organisations assess whether they are adaptable enough to react quickly to external pressures.
Using this powerful programme, an organisation can gauge its readiness for change, identify threats or barriers to positive change, and ultimately devise a practical framework for improvement.
Created on the premise that organisations can not change quickly unless all parts are pulling in the same direction, the Adaptability Index measures the ability to change in response to external pressures, collecting opinions from a cross-section of stakeholders and staff, via an online questionnaire on how the company operates, thinks, feels and breathes.
The questions are based on established quality and management models and theories, based around four key elements:
Sensors and Drivers - Knowledge and understanding of the external environment
Leadership – Do you use knowledge to make effective, strategic decisions?
Enablers - Characteristics that make it possible to implement change efficiently
Results – Are you keeping the organisation focused on success?By analysing the responses, you will learn how well your staff understand the pressures on the business, and whether they are aligned around common objectives.
Overall results are presented in a graphic format, highlighting issues and priority actions. Combined with a written report clarifying the results, it promotes the development of practical plans to tackle problems and drive improvement across your organisation.
