Survey of Scottish Textile Industry Manufacturing & CMT Capability

As part of developing appropriate industry intelligence, the client wished to establish a clear profile of the manufacturing capability and capacity in Scotland, enabling critical gaps to be established and strengths to be profiled.

Upper Quartile was commissioned and undertook a survey of companies across industry subsectors, developing a detailed assessment of current manufacturing capacity and capability within the SME base.  Future intentions were also ascertained, ensuring the report not only gave a clear ‘current picture’ but included identification and recommendations for capacity building and strategic interventions.
